..cutlass..

was bored looking for a new monologue to work on and came across this short film written & directed by Kate Hudson.

"Cutlass" a 16 min. short film was featured at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. its a cute story on parenting with an all star cast: chevy chase, kurt russell, dakota fanning, and miss kristen stewart....

i hope to be cool parent one day.. i have dreams and so will they...

...painting the roses red...

as i indulge in all that im missing from ny fashion week i couldn't help but noticed that a few designers had a paper mache overload... (most tastefully done)

i couldn't help but feeling a sense of alice in wonderland inspirations... specifically when those playing cards sing "painting the roses red" flashes of the queen of hearts blowing her top off came into mind...

i must say alice in wonderland is my favorite past time disney movie... even though it was derived from an acid induced hallucination.. there is sooo much creativity... maybe i should take some drugs to help fuel my creativity... tempting.. tempting..

Hail to the Queen!

i was completely floored and sadden to hear one of my favorite and most inspirational designers had taken his own life. it makes me sad that this world has lost someone with so much creativity and talent... i wish there were more people in this world that had the courage like mcqueen did to defy the ordinary and expressed his vision while staying true to himself...

here is a quote by mcqueen (via nytimes) that i posted back in march of last year:
